Kendal Calling music festival

Kendal calling is a fun music festival in the Lake District attracting a wide range of people of all cultures. There will be 8 performance stages, situated all in good old fields! There is art, rural entertainment and also lots of contemporary music held here every year. It will be hosted on 30th July – 1st August 2010 on the Lowther Deer Park grounds. A good old fashioned fun filled weekend of festivity and musical treats for all ears!

Cockermouth Fireworks Display

The annual Cockermouth Fireworks Display will take place on Sunday, 7th November, and it will be held at the Memorial Gardens, Wakefield Road, Cockermouth. Carlisle Fireshow at Bitts Park

This is a themed bonfire with a spectacular display of fireworks, set to music. Fairground and catering units are on site and admission is free,but donations are accepted for charity. Egremont Crab Fair

The Egremont Crab Fair was first established in 1267, and this is one of the oldest fairs in the world. Combining ancient traditional events with modern attractions for all the family, this unique event attracts thousands of visitors every year. The fair will take place on 18th September, 2010.
